HISTORY

Davey studied under Robert Henri, John Sloan and Charles W. Hawthorne and exhibited his artwork at the epochal 1913 Armory Show. He moved to Santa Fe in 1919, and was an influential member of the Santa Fe Art Colony. This tenderly rendered print of women in a boudoir recalls Degas' bathers.
